Terms of service
We vet and introduce. You hire direct.
The plain-English version of how Vali works. Vali is an introduction and vetting service, and nothing more. We are never the employer and never in the payment chain. Read these before you buy a pass.

What Vali is, and is not
Vali vets people and introduces them to businesses. That is the whole service. We check a candidate’s skills, run the assessment, and publish a scorecard so you can decide with more than a CV in front of you. When you find someone, you hire them directly.
Vali is never a party to the contract between you and the person you hire. We are not the employer, not the agency of record, and not in the payment chain. We take 0% of what the worker earns, and we hold no part of the money that moves between you.
How hiring and payment work
You agree the terms directly with the contractor: rate, scope, hours, notice. The contractor invoices you, and you pay them direct. Vali never issues that invoice, never holds the funds, and never deducts a fee from their pay.
What you pay Vali is separate, and only for access: a pass to a category, or an annual plan. The worker earns 1.5-3x their local rate, you save 40-70% on the hire, and Vali takes 0% of their pay. Those three numbers are the whole model. You can see them in full on the transparency page.
What a pass gives you
A pass unlocks the contact details for one category for its stated period. A one-off pass lasts 30 days and never auto-renews. An annual plan ends after 12 months unless you actively renew it. When access ends, the category locks again. The prices sit on the pricing page.
A pass is access for you, the business that bought it. It is not a bulk export, not a data feed, and not a licence to share, resell, or pass those details to anyone else.
No re-listing or reselling
This is the one hard prohibition. You may not re-list, republish, resell, or sublicense any Vali candidate, their profile, their scorecard, or their contact details on any other platform, directory, or agency roster. You may not present a Vali candidate as your own vetted supply to a third party.
This matters most for agencies. If we detect an account reselling candidates, we ban it. The ban ends access with no refund, and it is at our discretion when the evidence points one way.
Acceptable use
Use Vali the way it is meant to be used: to find and hire people for real roles.
Do not scrape the directory, automate reveals, or try to pull candidates in bulk. Reveals are capped at 15 a day for exactly this reason. Do not probe, break, or work around the access controls, the honeypot fields, or the rate limits. Do not give false information about your business during onboarding. Do not use Vali to contact candidates for anything other than a genuine hire.
Break these and we can suspend or ban the account.
Candidates and their data
Every candidate consents to being published and chooses to be here. They can take their profile down and have their contact details purged at any time. If a profile comes down after you have unlocked it, the introduction you already have stands, but the listing will not.
No candidate ever pays Vali anything. That is built into how the product works, not just promised here.
Ending access
You can stop at any time. One-off passes simply expire. Annual plans run to the end of the 12 months and then end unless you renew. We can end your access sooner if you break these terms, in the ways set out above.
