Why we take 0% of what you earn

There is a quiet tax on remote work. An agency places you and charges a fee on top. A BPO bills the client fifteen hundred pounds a seat, and the person doing the work sees a few hundred of it. The pattern is the same everywhere: someone sits between the worker and the pay, and takes a slice for standing there.

We took that slice out.

How Vali makes money

Businesses pay us for access to the vetted pool, one category at a time. That access fee is the whole of it. When a business hires someone, they pay that person directly, in full, into their own account. We are not in the contract and not in the payment.

So the number on your profile is the number you keep. If you agree a rate of a thousand pounds a month, you receive a thousand pounds a month. We never touch it, before or after.

Why it matters

When a platform earns a percentage of your pay, its interest and yours slowly drift apart. It wants the number that flows through it to be large, and it wants you to stay inside its walls. We would rather be useful once, take a flat fee from the side that can afford it, and get out of the way.

That is also why we vet both sides. A business cannot reach you until it has passed its own check: that it is real, that it pays fairly, and that it treats remote people well. The point of the whole thing is life-changing pay for talented people, kept in full.
